SETPOINT was founded in Prato in 1991, combining the work experiences of Antonella Marra and Silvano Borrelli, gained in over 40 years of activity in the textile branch, from the yarn and fabric sector to that of knitwear and packaging.
We are a representative office and buying office and we take care to promote and sell textile products, mainly shuttle and knit fabrics.
We have a dynamic and active staff with an excellent sales network both for export and for import, we work with serious and qualified producers and we are close collaborative relationships with important clients, directly or through valid and tested sub-agency formulas.
In our work we do not limit ourselves to putting potential customers in contact with suppliers, but we carefully and scrupulously follow all the management, from the sampling phase to the of production, from quality control to shipping and payment.
We are committed to offering our customers and ours manufacturers of an accurate service with constant and detailed information on products and markets, with correctness and responsibility.
We put at their disposal all our professionalism and experience, aspects that are more necessary than ever to face the strong challenges, in a sector always more complex and competitive. Sales on international markets is one of our flagship activities. In fact, we operate with several Italian companies with an excellent image and through a particularly extensive network of trusted and experienced agents, we are able to work with more important foreign customers, both importers and packagers.
For the Far East, a product with excellent fashion content, of medium, medium-fine and high quality is mostly required. Innovative and special fabrics meet the favor of a very demanding clientele.
For the other markets our sale essentially takes place in fabrics of medium and medium-fine quality with attention to the trends of the season and to the technical aspects, which must allow simple maintenance and general good performance for the package.
We work with Korean, Chinese and Japanese companies, on the basis of their proposals, which are updated monthly and distributed in Italy and in Europe. Based on the great experience in the textile sector both from a technical point of view and from knowledge of import practices ( letters of credit, customs procedures, etc.) we can offer our customers excellent assistance. In addition to the professionalism of our staff, what we believe is really important is being able to rely on the reliability and seriousness of our suppliers. our customers are mostly woolen mills that transform and market the product or wholesalers who buy fabrics and distribute them to garment manufacturers.
